With eufy, a single letter boundary determines most incorrect purchases: E15 and E18 share a mowing disc that C15 does not. If you know the model designation, you’re on the safe side. This disc belongs to the E series and comes with pre-assembled stainless steel blades.
E15 and E18 – same base, different area
eufy designed the E series as a sibling pair. Both devices navigate using cameras, both work without a boundary wire, and both use the same mowing unit. The difference lies in the lawn area for which the manufacturer has approved them.
That’s good news for buying replacement parts: If you switch robots or get a second device, you don’t need a second disc type on the shelf.
The blades are also interchangeable between the two models – a set fits everywhere an E model is used in the garden.
Compatible eufy models
C15 or E15 – the most common misconception
“eufy C15 vs E15” is the most frequently asked question about this brand. No wonder: the names differ by just one letter, and the devices look similar – but the mowing units are not.
Swap on eufy
- Switch off the robot and remove it from the charging station.
- Put on gloves and turn the device onto its side.
- Remove grass clippings around the mowing deck so the new mowing disc sits evenly.
- Unscrew the old mowing disc, attach the new one, and tighten it evenly.
- Tap each blade once—it must rotate freely around its screw.
If you’ve already been under the device, you can wipe the camera lenses at the front with a dry cloth right away. Dirty optics lead to less precise navigation in the E series.

6, 7 or 9 blades for the E series
All three versions fit the same mount. Because the E models follow their paths systematically, the number of blades directly affects the fineness of the cut pattern.
6 blades – factory configuration with center cover
Matches the original cutting disc: same number, same performance. If you simply want to replace the worn mowing disc, this is the right option.
This version is the only one with a cover in the middle of the blade plate – it is omitted with 7 and 9 blades. In the E series, this matters because the devices continue to run as planned even in damp weather: any sticky clippings that accumulate would otherwise collect exactly at the blade attachment point.
For gardens where the robot works according to a fixed schedule, this is the lowest-maintenance option.
7 blades – for areas kept short
An additional cutting edge delivers more cuts per revolution. Since the E models mow their paths with overlap, every blade of grass is captured noticeably more often.
Recommended for well-maintained lawns that are mowed every two to three days.
Without center coverage. In dry conditions it doesn’t matter—if you mow frequently in moisture, it’s better to choose the 6-blade version.
9 blades – for nearly daily operation
The densest setup is worth it when the robot drives almost every day and removes only a few millimeters. The result then looks particularly even.
If mowing is less frequent and the E15 has to handle taller grass, six or seven stronger blades are the more stable solution.
Also without a cover over the middle – hardly noticeable with daily use on short lawn.
When the cutting edges need to be replaced
Buy blades individually
Because the E15 and E18 use the same blades, a supply covers both devices. The 60-blade replacement set including screws is enough for many replacements—and is ready as soon as the cutting pattern starts to fade.
