TerraMow: Camera navigation without wire and antenna
TerraMow is one of the manufacturers that consistently relies on camera navigation: The robot detects obstacles visually in real time and does not require either a boundary wire or an RTK antenna. The range includes four models in two series.
For replacement parts, TerraMow has made a decision that saves work: S800, S1200, V600 and V1000 share a mowing disc. Anyone upgrading or purchasing a second device does not need to stock up twice.

Typical problems with TerraMow robots
Increasing mowing time with dulling blades
Like all camera-based robots, the TerraMow drives more cautiously when the cutting edge becomes less sharp. Runtime increases before you can notice anything on the lawn itself.
Dirty camera lens
Produces the same symptoms as dull blades. Clean it with a dry cloth when replacing the mowing disc—takes ten seconds and prevents misdiagnoses.
Many operating hours from thorough work
Camera-based robots approach obstacles more closely and cover areas more completely. Great for results, but it also increases wear and tear—the calendar is a poor guide here.
