Typical problems with Automower robotic mowers

Rounded blade tips
Automower units work with very short blades at high speed. Wear is less noticeable in notches than in tips that become rounded—clearly recognizable during a visual inspection if you know what to look for.
Hairline cracks around the blade mounts
After several seasons, the mowing disc can develop cracks. Then a blade change alone no longer helps, because the blades get play and cut at a slightly different height. Only replacing the entire disc restores a clean cutting pattern.
PIN prompt after power disconnect
If the Automower is completely disconnected from power during service, depending on the model it will request the PIN when restarting. Not a defect—just the built-in anti-theft protection.
