Description
The Automower is one of the most widely used mowing robots in Germany—so replacement parts are in high demand to keep a well-maintained unit running. Our mowing disc comes with six, seven, or nine blades and replaces the worn factory version. Suitable for Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405X, 415X, 430X, 435X AWD and 535 AWD, with pre-assembled stainless steel blades.

Sharp cutting edges determine the cut pattern
An Automower trims only a few millimeters with each run. This works as long as the cutting edges are sharp—dull blades tear the grass blade instead of cutting it cleanly.
You won’t notice it on the day of mowing, but two days later: the split tips dry out and leave a dull film over the area.
The swap is not a modification. The disc is mounted in the same fitting as the factory version—no drilling, no adjustment to the device.

Questions about the Automower mowing disc
With Husqvarna, most questions revolve around the replacement interval and how to distinguish between the many model series.
Swap in just a few minutes
- Switch off the Automower and remove it from the charging station.
- Put on gloves and place the device on its side.
- Unscrew the old factory version and clean the mowing area.
- Attach the new disc and tighten it evenly.
- Check each blade by tapping it—it must rotate freely around its screw.
The old blade screws can sometimes be difficult to loosen after longer operation. A short spray of penetrating oil and a few minutes of waiting time can prevent worn screw heads.

6, 7 or 9 blades on the Automower
All three versions fit the same mounting. The choice determines how fine the result turns out and how much work the drive has to do.
6 blades – the balanced entry point
The version with the best ratio of cutting pattern and drive load. For the smaller models such as the 305 or 310, this is the obvious choice.
Only this version has a closed center – with 7 and 9 blades it is omitted. This matters with the Automower because the devices often run every day for years and inevitably also come across damp grass: Without a cover, the clippings collect season after season around the blade mounting.
If you want to keep maintenance effort to a minimum, this is the right option.

7 blades – for visibly well-kept lawn
One cutting edge more, and individual blades left standing between the tracks disappear reliably. For the mid-range models with sufficient drive reserve, this is the sensible middle ground.
Especially on dense, well-nourished grass, the difference is noticeable.
Without cover over the middle: in dry weather there’s no disadvantage; for frequent mowing in morning dew, the 6-blade version is more practical.
9 blades – for the larger models
The densest blade arrangement shows its strength on devices with powerful drive—such as the X models and the AWD variants, which are designed for larger areas anyway.
On neatly trimmed lawns with daily operation, this results in the finest finish that this device can achieve. During longer mowing breaks and with taller grass, six or seven blades are more robust.
Also without a closed center.

Signs of dull cutting
Buy blades individually
With the Automower, the entire set is always replaced—adding a single fresh blade among worn ones creates imbalance. The 60-blade replacement set including screws covers many such replacements and is ready whenever the lawn needs it.
