TerraMow runs two product lines in parallel – the S models and the V models. In the cutting deck, the manufacturer combined them: S800, S1200, V600 and V1000 use the same disc. One spare part covers the entire range, available with six, seven or nine pre-assembled stainless steel blades.
S-Series or V-Series – the mowing disc doesn’t matter
When choosing between the S1200 and V1000, you’re comparing navigation, mowing performance, and price. With the cutting system, the comparison ends: all four models use the same mounting.
For storing spare parts, this is unusually convenient. With most manufacturers, switching models also means a new type of mowing disc – not here.
The blades are also interchangeable with each other. If you have two TerraMow units in use, you only need one supply.

At TerraMow, a search term appears particularly often—and it reveals what many users get stuck on:
Replacement on TerraMow
- Switch off the robot and remove it from the charging station.
- Put on gloves and turn the device over.
- Remove any accumulated material around the mount.
- Loosen the old disc, fit the new one, and tighten it evenly.
- Touch each blade— it must be able to rotate freely around its screw.
If you mow on sandy or loamy ground, you should clean the mowing area more thoroughly than usual while you’re at it. Fine grains that are left there otherwise continue to work their way into the cutting area.

6, 7 or 9 blades
All three versions fit all four TerraMow models. The choice depends on how often you mow—and whether the blade area should be protected.
6 blades – with integrated blade protection
Matches the factory configuration and is the answer to the most common TerraMow search of all: Only this version has a closed center that covers the area around the blade mount.
The effect is noticeable in everyday use: damp clippings can’t collect there, the cutting edges run freely, and in most cases you don’t need to flip the unit over.
For anyone who lets the robot run on a schedule and wants to turn it over as rarely as possible, this is the right choice.
7 blades – for well-kept lawns
An additional cutting edge increases the number of cuts per revolution. If you keep the grass short and let the robot mow at short intervals, you’ll see a more closed, uniform result.
The additional wear remains moderate, because when mowing frequently, only a few millimeters are removed anyway.
Without a closed center: No problem on dry ground – in damp conditions or on sandy surfaces, the 6-blade version is easier to maintain.
9 blades – for daily operation
The densest blade setup fits gardens where the TerraMow runs practically every day and only trims the tips. The result then looks particularly fine.
During longer breaks and stronger growth, six or seven blades last longer—nine narrow edges share the same work and dull sooner.
