Description

Replacement mowing disc for Landroid M and Vision M600

Around the Landroid, a cutting disc is often searched for after experience—an indication that many users are not entirely satisfied with the cutting image and are looking for an alternative. This disc fits Landroid M500, M700, WR141E, WR167E and Vision M600, optionally with six or seven pre-assembled stainless steel blades.

Six or seven cuts instead of the factory solution

What a disc changes in everyday use

The Landroid works on the principle of many small cuts: with each trip, it trims only a few millimeters and runs more often. To make it look even, each blade of grass needs to be hit as frequently as possible along the same path.

This is exactly where a disc with multiple cutting disc blades comes in. It increases the number of cuts per revolution without changing the robot’s mowing behavior—navigation, schedule, and cutting height remain as set.

It is mounted on the same mount as the factory version. No adapter, no drilling, no modification to the device.

Compatible Landroid models

Landroid M500
Landroid M700
Landroid WR141E
Landroid WR167E
Landroid Vision M600
Not compatible with: the Vision-Cloud series (WR303E to WR330E). These devices have their own mowing deck—so we offer separate cutting discs for Worx Vision Cloud.

Frequently asked questions about the Landroid

Worx releases the Landroid series with several naming schemes in parallel—letters, numbers, and WR codes side by side. This regularly leads to confusion:

M500, M700 or WR141E – what’s the difference?

The WR numbers are Worx internal item designations for the same devices, under which they are sold in retail. A WR141E is the Landroid M500, a WR167E the M700 – the same series, different labeling.

For choosing replacement parts, that means: all four names refer to this disc. Whether the device is labeled M500, M700, or a WR number makes no difference.

As usual, the number indicates the intended lawn area. You’ll notice it when the parts wear out – not on the mowing unit itself.

Vision M600 yes, Vision Cloud no – why?

Worx uses the name Vision for several devices that are not technically identical. The Vision M600 belongs to the M series and shares its mowing unit – this disc fits.

By contrast, the Vision Cloud models with WR numbers from WR303E are a separate series for larger areas with a different mounting. For them, we offer a separate disc.

If in doubt, the complete designation on the type plate or in the Worx app under device information will help.

Does the cutting height adjustment remain usable?

Yes, without restriction. The Landroid’s height adjustment works via the chassis, not via the mowing deck—so it is unaffected by the disc change.

A practical note: If you set the cutting height very low, you increase the risk of blade contact with uneven ground and lawn edge stones. This reduces cutting performance, regardless of which disc is installed.

For uneven areas, it’s worth driving one level higher and having it mow more frequently instead.

Changing the disc on the Landroid

  1. Switch off the robot and remove it from the charging station.
  2. Put on gloves and lay the device on its side.
  3. Loosen the factory version and clear the mowing area of grass residues.
  4. Fit the new disc and tighten it evenly.
  5. Tap each blade: it must be able to rotate freely around its screw.

Afterward, it’s worth taking a look at the rear wheels on the Landroid. They are narrow and in humid summers they often get clogged with grass matting, which additionally makes the robot work harder when turning.

6 or 7 blades

For the M series, we offer two configurations. Both fit the same mounting— the difference lies in the cutting pattern and in how much work the mowing deck has to do afterwards.

6 blades – the most sought-after version

Anyone looking for a cutting disc for Worx almost always ends up with this configuration. Six cutting edges provide significantly more cuts per revolution than a more economical factory solution, without overloading the drive of the compact Landroid.

This version is the only one with a closed center—the 7-blade disc does not have it. With the Landroid, this is a noticeable advantage because the device sits low and, when turning, pushes a lot of cut material under the chassis. Without a cover, it rests against the blade mount until a blade gets jammed.

For operation without regular visual checks, this is the most straightforward choice.

6 blades – with closed center
Mowing disc with 7 blades for Worx Landroid
7 blades – finer cut pattern

7 blades – for short-cut lawns

One more cutting edge creates an additional cutting event per revolution. On well-maintained areas that the Landroid mows every two days, the result therefore looks more uniform.

Especially useful where the lawn grows densely and individual blades left standing would stand out.

Without a closed center: No problem in dry conditions – if you mow frequently when it’s damp, you’re better off with the 6-blade version.

When the cutting blades are due

Grass tips look torn instead of cleanly cut
The lawn looks dull two days after mowing
In denser areas, blades remain standing
A blade no longer spins freely

Buy blades individually

The disc lasts through many sets of blades – the entire set is always replaced at once. With the 60-blade replacement set including screws, you’re stocked for a long time without needing to place another order in between.

Frequently asked questions

Does the cutting disc fit the Landroid M500, M700 and WR167E?

Yes, it also fits the WR141E and Vision M600. These models share the same disc mount.

Can I use the M-series mowing disc on the Vision Cloud WR312E?

No. The Vision-Cloud series from WR303E has a different cutting system. For that, you need the corresponding Vision-Cloud disc.

Why does the mulching result become coarser over time with the Landroid?

The Landroid works with small blades at high speed. As the sharpness decreases, this principle loses effectiveness faster than in robots with larger blades—the cut material then becomes visibly coarser.

How often do I need to change the cutting disc on the Landroid?

Base it on the cut pattern, not the calendar. With the Landroid, the issue is diminishing sharpness—not material breakage. Anyone waiting for visible damage mows for too long with a poor result.

Is the disc also available with 9 blades?

For the Landroid M series, we offer 6 and 7 blades. A 9-blade version is not sensibly implementable with this cutting system.

Does the Landroid collect more clippings than other robots?

Yes, because the mulching material is very fine and settles more easily into crevices. Check the underside regularly—this maintains cutting quality and extends service life.

Are the blades already installed?

Yes, the disc comes ready to install. You don’t need to screw individual blades on.

  6. Fasten each blade with a suitable screw.
  7. Tighten the screws securely without over-tightening them.
  8. Check each blade for a secure fit and free movement.

7. Check after installation

  • Are all screws fully inserted and securely fastened?
  • Is the cutting disc straight and firmly seated?
  • Can the blades move freely, if intended?
  • Have no tools or foreign objects been left in the area of the cutting disc?
  • Does the cutting disc run freely and without grinding?

8. Operation and Maintenance

  • Check the blades, screws, and cutting disc regularly for wear.
  • Replace damaged or heavily worn parts immediately.
  • Clean the cutting disc regularly of grass clippings and dirt.
  • Do not use the lawn mower robot if unusual noises, vibrations, or running problems occur.
  • Use only compatible replacement parts and suitable mounting materials.

Note on Blade Replacement

Always replace blades in good time. Dull or damaged blades can worsen the cutting pattern,
place a greater load on the lawn mower robot, and impair safety.
