Description

60 replacement blades including screws

The mowing disc lasts for years – the blades don’t. They are the actual wear part in every robotic lawnmower and are replaced several times per season. This set provides 60 blades made of rust-free stainless steel along with the matching screws and covers many replacements, without needing to place an order in between.

Why you should always replace the entire set

It’s tempting to replace just the one visibly damaged blade—however, with a rotating mowing deck, that rarely works well. A fresh cutting edge weighs more than one that has ground down material for half a season.

This weight difference creates imbalance at mowing speed. You’ll notice it as an unsteady run, and over the season the mowing motor’s bearing permanently absorbs this vibration.

That’s why you replace all blades of a mowing disc together. With a 6-blade disc, this set is enough for ten complete replacements; with nine cutting edges, for around six— in both cases, across multiple seasons.

Compatible with all GRASBOT mowing discs

The blades are identical across our entire range. No matter which robot the mowing disc was made for—the cutting format remains the same:

Mammotion LUBA & YUKA
Segway Navimow
Dreame A-Series
MOVA
eufy
GARDENA SILENO
Husqvarna Automower
Worx Landroid
Ecovacs GOAT
TerraMow
Sunseeker
ANTHBOT
Note: These blades are made for our mowing discs. Whether they also fit an original disc from your manufacturer depends on the model—if you’re unsure, we’re happy to check in advance using a photo of the old blade.

Questions about blade replacement

When it comes to changing the blades, the same three questions come up with all brands:

How often does it need to be replaced?

A fixed number of weeks is misleading, because wear depends on operating time—not the calendar. A robot that covers a large area every day will rack up multiple times the operating hours of a device in a small front garden.

The reliable test takes seconds: After mowing, look at a single blade. If the tip is cleanly cut off, the blades are still sharp. If it looks torn and fibrous, it’s time to replace them.

A second signal comes from the lawn itself. If, two days after mowing, it turns brownish or looks dull, the robot has crushed the blades instead of cutting them—the torn ends dry out.

Why are the screws included?

Because they wear out just like the blades, only less noticeably. Every loosening and tightening takes a toll on the screw head, and after several replacements, the screwdriver eventually slips through.

And then there’s corrosion: the screws are located at the device’s dampest spot, directly above the lawn. A rusted-in screw turns the next replacement into a test of patience.

New screws for every replacement are inexpensive and prevent exactly this problem. That’s why they’re included here instead of being sold separately.

What should I pay attention to when fitting them?

The blades should not be stuck. Each one must be able to rotate freely around its screw after installation—this isn’t a cosmetic issue, but a safety principle.

If a movable blade hits a stone or a root, it folds away and yields to the force. A tightened blade can’t do that: it transmits the impact directly to the mowing disc and the mowing motor.

After reassembly, therefore, briefly tap each cutting edge with your finger. If one is stuck, loosen the screw slightly until it runs freely again.

Done in five minutes

  1. Switch off the robot and remove it from the charging station.
  2. Put on gloves—the old blades are still sharp enough along the edges to cause cuts.
  3. Remove all blades including the screws and clean the mowing disc.
  4. Install the new blades with the included screws.
  5. Tap each blade: it must swing freely around its screw.

The old blades don’t belong in household waste; they should be taken to metal scrap. With sixty blades per set, quite a bit adds up over the years—a lockable glass jar in the shed has proven to be a good collection point.

Frequently asked questions

Which blade variant should I use for my GRASBOT lawn mower—6, 7, or 9 blades?

For the GRASBOT lawn mower, the 6 blades are recommended if your lawn is rather short and evenly maintained. 7 blades offer a compromise between precision and speed, while 9 blades are intended for very tall grass or uneven areas, as they improve cutting quality.

What happens if I use the wrong or incompatible cutting disc on my Segway Navimow?

A wrong or incompatible cutting disc can cause imbalance, which may damage the lawn mower. Cutting performance is also reduced, leading to an uneven mowing pattern and possible damage to the motor mechanism.

How does using GRASBOT replacement blades affect the mowing pattern and the battery life of my lawn mower?

The GRASBOT replacement blades, made of rust-free stainless steel, ensure an even and precise mowing pattern, promoting lawn health. A clean mowing pattern requires less energy, which improves your lawn mower’s battery life.

How long do the GRASBOT blades last, and are they really rust-free?

The blades made from high-quality rust-free stainless steel offer excellent durability and sharpness, which—depending on operating conditions—can last for several mowing seasons. With regular maintenance and optimal use, you can maximize the blades’ lifespan.

How can I mount the GRASBOT blades on my GRASBOT mowing disc?

Replacing the GRASBOT blades is easy: remove the old blades with a wrench, insert the new blades, and secure them with the included screws. The entire replacement process should take no longer than 15 minutes.

  8. Check each blade for a secure fit and free movement.

7. Check after installation

  • Are all screws fully inserted and securely fastened?
  • Is the cutting disc straight and firmly seated?
  • Can the blades move freely, if intended?
  • Have no tools or foreign objects been left in the area of the cutting disc?
  • Does the cutting disc run freely and without grinding?

8. Operation and Maintenance

  • Check the blades, screws, and cutting disc regularly for wear.
  • Replace damaged or heavily worn parts immediately.
  • Clean the cutting disc regularly of grass clippings and dirt.
  • Do not use the lawn mower robot if unusual noises, vibrations, or running problems occur.
  • Use only compatible replacement parts and suitable mounting materials.

Note on Blade Replacement

Always replace blades in good time. Dull or damaged blades can worsen the cutting pattern,
place a greater load on the lawn mower robot, and impair safety.
